"God Equals Genocide, in my mind, has been one of the most energetic and fun (while still writting great socially concious lyrics) in recent years by my estimation. Something like 5 years ago, while drunk and on tour with them, I spent an entire evening trying to convince them to write and record a full length, to which they said "probably not." Fast forward 4 and a half years, and Daryl from the band emails me saying that they spent the night in a studio and recorded 10 songs for a record that I was gonna put out.
